The prayers of the Diocese are requested for the repose of the soul of the Right Reverend Elliott Lorenz Sorge, who died this morning (December 6, 2011) in. Denver.
His daughter, the Reverend Marianne Ell, shares that he passed during the singing of “Veni Sanctu Espiritus.”
The funeral is planned for Saturday at 10:30 at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Centennial, CO, where Bishop Sorge's ashes will be interred in the church's columbarium. Greenwood and Myers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The strife is over, the battle done.
The victory of Christ has won.
The song of triumph has begun.
